Wake Up!

Political affiliation needs to take a backseat for a minute. The country is in trouble and I think the majority of people are smart enough to know this. I am not taking sides with any political group, nor am I picking between which politician I believe is less corrupt to make a vote. I am simply watching this country crumble to pieces on the level of everyday civilians, you and me. What is happening in this country is an extreme version of the age old Divide and Conquer method that has been used from the beginning of any ruling system. There is more fighting amongst United States citizens than there has ever been with more separation every single day between the people. Your televisions and radios should be burned! The entire country is being fed lies from both sides and if you don’t believe me, set your confirmation biases aside for a minute and check out what the opposing side of any of the ridiculous argument that you want to focus on is telling the people. Both sides are filling your head with ideas aimed at getting you up in arms and willing to fight one another to hand over your rights and your money for ideals that you don’t even stand for. I don’t think people even know what the issues are anymore. There are so many and new shit pops up everyday. You have world leaders screaming kill in the name of peace and an army of idiots standing behind them yelling “go for it”. This is not only the dumbest I have ever seen an entire population become, but the weakest. We, the entire country, are allowing this corruption that you call United States government to walk all over us while we look up at them smiling asking for more. STOP! Get a hold of yourself and realize that it isn’t your neighbor who is hating you or your boss at your job who is oppressing you, and it isn’t due to any single person who is doing anything to anyone. What is going wrong in this country is the citizens, US, WE… are allowing false information to control our emotions and we are allowing our emotions to control our actions, which in turn is giving the corruption exactly what it wants and needs to steamroll over everything we once stood for, taking your ability to think for yourself along with it. Take that shit back! Nobody will achieve anything alone, but if enough people will set their differences aside for a second and stand together for what is right and good, good things will begin to happen. If we don’t, we lose our rights, our liberties, and our country. If you don’t know where to begin, I will tell you; Look at the next stranger you see and simply say, “Hello, how are you.” That would be a great start.
